Shona , Mashona - a people living mainly in Zimbabwe , as well as in neighboring areas of Mozambique . Sean is spoken in the Sean language, which belongs to the Bantu language group of the Benue-Congolese family of the Niger-Kordofan macro-family of languages. Most Shona adhere to Christianity ( Protestants , Catholics ), the rest profess traditional beliefs ( cult of ancestors , cult of the forces of nature). Sean reached a high level of development long before the advent of Europeans - they played a leading role in creating the culture of Zimbabwe and the political union of Monomotap . The main traditional occupation is agriculture (millet, corn, sorghum , legumes), and partly cattle breeding .
