Story

Freddy Krueger languishes in Hell, and enraged parents found a way to save their children, forcing them to forget about the maniac - now Krueger is helpless and cannot escape from imprisonment. To instill fear in children, Freddy finds Jason Voorhees and convinces him to go to the Elm streets, pretending to be his mother Pamela . Voorhees goes to Springwood to punish teenagers - Freddy is sure that he will be accused of mysterious murders, and fear will reign in the city, which will give him the necessary strength.

Jason arrives on Elm Street and begins to monitor house No. 1428, where Nancy Thompson and Jesse Walsh once lived - now a girl named Laurie Campbell and his widower father live in it. While Lori is having fun with her friends Kia, Gibb, Blake and Trey, Jason kills Trey with his machete. The guys are taken to a police station for interrogation. Lori falls asleep and collides with Kruger, giving him strength. Freddy is trying to kill Blake, but he cannot, but at this moment Jason kills the young man and his father, who are sitting on the porch of his own house.

Lori tells Kia and Gibb about Freddy. Meanwhile, Lory’s lover, Will Rollins and his friend Mark, are fleeing the Westen Hills Psychiatric Hospital, where they were forcibly sent so that they do not panic among teenagers with stories about Kruger. To distract, the girls leave for a party where Jason kills Gibb. Before that, Freddie tried to trap the sleeping Gibb, but his plan breaks. Freddy is enraged, as Jason takes away from him the souls necessary to restore his strength.

Jason is having a carnage at a party. Heroes run away with her along with teenagers - Friborg and Linderman, in love with Lori. They meet with officer Stubbs, who suspects that someone is imitating the murders of the famous maniac Jason Voorhees. Soon, the guys realize that they are being hunted by two maniacs at once, and Freddy pulls the strings, trying to control Jason. The guys decide to break into Westen Hills to find Hypnocil, a psychotropic drug that protected the patients of the clinic from Kruger. But before that, Freddy kills Mark as a message of his return. Once in the clinic, the heroes find the drug. Jason kills Stubbs, and Freddy penetrates the body of Friborg and manages to inject Jason with sleeping pills, but before that, the maniac kills Friburg. While the survivors set off for Crystal Lake, Jason confronts Kruger in the realm of dreams. Soon, Lori goes there too to pull him out of the dream world, because Jason has more advantages in the living world. Meanwhile, Freddy finds out that Jason is afraid of water and tortures him with childhood memories of death when, as a little boy, he drowned in Crystal Lake.

Lori stops Kruger from killing Jason, and then pulls him out of the dream world, where Jason awakens. The guys find themselves in crossfire - the hut in which they hid lights up, Linderman dies from Jason’s hand. Kia tries to help Laurie and Will, diverting Freddy's attention, but forgets about Jason and the maniac kills her too. Freddy and Jason continue their battle, and Laurie decides to burn the marina on which the action takes place. As a result of a fierce battle, both maniacs disappear into the waters of Crystal Lake.

In the epilogue of the picture, Jason comes out of Crystal Lake with Freddy's head cut off in his hand - suddenly Freddy winks, which means that the battle is not over.

Alternative Scenes

Alternative Start

An extended version of the scene in which the boy Billy asks Heather to stay with him until he falls asleep. She refuses and then goes to the lake. To which the boy shows her middle finger and goes to bed (Part of this scene is used in the final version of the film).

Alternative Finals

In an alternate ending, Laurie and Will make love. When the girl says that the boy is too persistent, Freddie is facing Lori. He puts his hand over her for a blow. Apparently, in this version of the script, Lori dies; in another version, Freddy and Jason continue to fight in Hell, but suddenly the main villain from another popular horror series appears - Nailhead from HellRaiser. Be that as it may, this version was quickly rejected, as the company did not want to redeem the rights to this hero. In yet another version of the finale, Freddy and Jason are pulled into a black hole at the bottom of a dried-up Crystal Lake. The next morning, Laurie and her father, Dr. Campbell, find themselves next to a hole. There, Dr. Campbell discovers Freddy's glove. He picks it up, and at that moment a hand in a striped sweater appears from under the ground and drags Dr. Campbell into the ground.

References

  • In the final of the film “ Last Friday. Jason goes to hell "(1993) shows Jason's mask, which is taken from the ground by Freddy Krueger's hand. The screen turns black, Kruger laughs. Thus, this scene is the background to this film.
  • In the Westen Hills scene, when the news is shown on the screen, the abbreviation KRGR is visible, the same as the radio station in the first film, before Glen falls asleep ( Johnny Depp ). KRGR stands for KRUEGER, hence it’s clear that there are no vowels in the channel name.
  • Linderman says he has asthma since he was six years old. Perhaps this is a reference to the movie “ A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Lord of Sleep, ” where a girl named Sheela also had asthma since she was six years old.
  • Scooby-Doo is mentioned twice in the film.
  • In a scene with hallucinations in a psychiatric clinic, a caterpillar with a hookah crawls out from behind the door. This is a reference to the book " Alice in Wonderland. "
  • The scene in which Jason punctures Gibb and Friesel is a reference to the movie " Friday, 13: Part 2 ", in which the maniac in the same way kills the heroes of Jeff and Sandra.
  • At the beginning of Blake’s nightmare, a goat appears. This animal also appeared in the first film " A Nightmare on Elm Street " in Tina's nightmare - at the very beginning of the film.
  • Gibb, the heroine of Katherine Isabelle, wears a red baseball cap throughout the film. This is a reference to the movie " Carrie " (1976), where the heroine PJ Soules also wears a red cap. Interestingly, Isabelle starred in the television remake of the film " Carrie " (2002).
  • The scene in which Jason knocks on several doors in the Westen Hills is a reference to a similar scene in the 2001 film “ Jason X ”.
  • Jason's resurgence at the beginning of the film is very similar to Freddy's resurgence in the film A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Lord of Dreams .
  • In the scene of the final battle on Lake Freddy, he shouts to Jason "Hey Asshole!" Usually this phrase was uttered by other heroes of previous "Fridays, 13".
