The community is divided into 7 rural districts.
In honor of Hohenstein, the asteroid (788) of Hohenstein was discovered, discovered in 1914 by the German astronomer Franz Kaiser at the Heidelberg Observatory , since the discoverer of the asteroid was born in this area [2] .
