Composition and History
The commune of Nünchritz includes 11 settlements:
- Nünchritz ( German: Nünchritz ), The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1312 .
- Gredel ( German: Grödel ), , first mentioned in 1324 .
- Roda ( German: Roda ), , first mentioned in 1365 .
- Weissig ( German: Weißig ), , first mentioned in 1378 .
- Chaiten ( German: Zschaiten ), , first mentioned in 1324 .
- Diesbar-Süslitz ( German: Diesbar-Seußlitz ), The first mention of Zeuslitz is found in 1205 as a castle, and Dysbar is mentioned in 1272 . As these villages grew, in 1952 they merged.
