Frederic Christian Sibbern ( Dat. Frederik Christian Sibbern ; July 18, 1785 - December 16, 1872 ) is a Danish poet and philosopher .

Biography
Since 1813, professor of philosophy in Copenhagen ; in his outlook, he most of all adjoined Schelling . His main work: Menneskets aandelige Natur og Väsen ( 1819 - 1828 ), in a revised form: Psychologi (4th ed., 1862 ). In addition, he is known for: “Logikens Elementer” (3rd ed., 1866 ); "Om Poesi og Konst" ( 1853 - 1869 ); poems Breve af Gabrielis (4th ed., 1870 ) and the utopian novel: Meddelelser af Inholdet af et Skrift fra Aaret 2135 ( 1858 - 1872 ).
