Biography

Basque by nationality, was the captain of the youth team of Basque Country , in the USSR he was a result of the civil war in Spain , being one of the children evacuated to the USSR .

Arriving in Moscow, he played for the children and youth teams of the House of Spanish Youth. Later he played for the team of the factory "Red Rose" (1940-1941), "Wings of the Soviets" Moscow (1944-1946). Player of FC Torpedo Moscow from 1947 to 1954 (185 matches). He played for Shakhtar Donetsk during his tour of Bulgaria and Romania in 1951.

In 1952 he became a member of the USSR Olympic team .

He was a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Spain and took part in underground work after returning to his homeland. He was a member of the CPSU [1] .

Fulfilled the tasks of Soviet intelligence in Latin America [2] .

He died in Moscow from an incurable disease, was buried in the 4th section of the Don cemetery [3] .
