Until April 21, 2017 as part of the Biorkovsky rural settlement of Kolomensky district .
The population is 10 [1] people. (2010). It is mainly used as a holiday village. It is located 16 km southwest of Kolomna on the left tributary of the Kolomenka River, the height above sea level is 169 m [2] . Neighboring villages: Zaprudny 1.3 km to the west and Sheremetyevo 1.7 km to the south.

Attractions
In the village is the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built in 1816 by order of Prince V. M. Golitsyn [5] .
