Club career

A pupil of the football school of the club " Monza ". He began his adult football career in 1973 in the main team of the same club, in which he spent two seasons, taking part in 37 championship matches and scoring 4 goals.

His game for this team attracted the attention of the Torino club coaching staff, which he joined in 1975. He played for the Turin team the next six seasons of his playing career. Most of the time spent with Torino was a major player on the team.

From 1981 to 1989 he played in the teams of the Sampdoria , Fiorentina , Pisa , Cesena and Parma clubs.

He completed his professional playing career in the lower league club Solbiasez , for whose team he played for 1989-1990.

Team appearances

In 1978 he was involved in the youth team of Italy . At the youth level he played in 3 official matches.

In 1976 he made his debut in official matches as part of the Italian national team . During his career in the national team, which lasted 5 years, he spent 8 matches in the form of the country's main team. As part of the team, he was a participant in the 1978 World Cup in Argentina .

Coach Career

He started his coaching career shortly after the player’s career ended, in 1991, having entered the coaching staff of the Monza club.

Later he headed the teams of the clubs Leffe , Varese , Pistoiese , Bjellese , Vis Pesaro , Valenzana and Pro Patria , and also entered the coaching staff of the Torino club.

Currently, the last place of coaching was the club " Casale ", whose team Patricio Sala led as head coach until 2006.
