Madzhar, Sergey Vladimirovich

Sergey Vladimirovich Madzhar ^[1] was born on February 14, 1958 in Ufa. His father worked as a geologist, his mother - a technologist at a military factory. The family lived at the station "Dema".

He studied at the pedagogical school number 2 in Ufa, in 1980 he graduated from the graphic arts faculty of the BGPI them. K.A. Timiryazev (pedagogues A. G. Gabbasov, Ryndin, Fenina, etc.). The graduation work of the artist was a series of graphic works for the novel by Charles de Koster “ The Legend of Eulenspiegel and Lamma Goodzach ” (etchings “Thiel's Childhood”, “Duel”, “Stork”, “No Jealous, Dove Nele”, “Night after the execution of Claas”) . For two years he served in the army.

Place of work: from 1983 to 1993 he worked as an illustrator of the Bashkir book publishing house, where he illustrated the books: “The Legend of Uhlenspiegel ...”; 1978, “Bashkir folk art. Legends and Legends ”v. 2, A. I. Krylov. Fables, 1984, Hugo "Gavrosh", 1988. and others. In 1992-1994, he worked as an artist at the Firefly magazine, since 2002 he taught at the Ufa Art School, and since 2007 he taught at the Ufa State Oil Technical University.

Since the mid-90s, he has been engaged in print graphics and painting (landscapes, portraits, still lifes, genre scenes).

Currently lives and works in Ufa, teaches at the Artclub.
