Baranovka is a village in the Kolomensky district of the Moscow region . It is part of the Akatievsky rural settlement . The population of the village is not constant; according to 2005 data, only 1 person was registered in Baranovka [2] . But in recent years the village has been developing - according to 2006 data, there are 170 plots in it, 90 houses have been built on them. The population is 14 [1] people. (2010).

Location
Baranovka is located in the central part of the district, 3 km south-west of Kolomna , 2.5 km south of the Sychevo platform on the Kolomna- Ozyory railway line of the Kazan direction of the Moscow railway . The distance to the Moscow Ring Road is about 90 km.
History
In the last years of the Soviet era, the village was falling apart and could completely disappear. Several buildings remained the legacy of those times - their windows and doors were boarded up tightly by boards , the houses themselves grew into the ground along the roofs , and the plots of land were overgrown.
Currently, the village is actively developing, over the past 5 - 7 years [ when? ] six streets appeared in it. In order to make it easy to navigate the addresses, local residents at the village gathering decided to give names to the streets and number the houses.

Streets
Currently, there are six streets in Baranivka:
- Central - at the entrance to the village.
- Garden - next to the garden plots.
- Field - near agricultural fields.
- Lakeside - adjacent to the lake.
- Navy - goes to Lake Semenovsky , on this street there are three retired naval officers who served in the Pacific Fleet , the street is named at their request.
- Zaprudnaya - bypasses a semicircle pond located in the center of the village.
Nature
The village is surrounded by forests rich in mushrooms . Near the village there is a pond and a lake where you can freely fish .

- A pond in the center of the village. A bell is installed on the shore of the pond, which is located here “ just in case of a fire accident ”.
- A bulletin board is located in the center of the village, here you can find the latest news - the headman informs the villagers about this news.
Transport
Buses
There is no direct bus population with other settlements. A bus stop is an hour's walk from the village on the Kolomna - Belye Kolodezi highway.
Roads
Asphalt is laid to Schepotiev, from the road to Baranivka the road is strewn with burnt earth. There are also roads in the village along which cars can go. On December 3, 2014, the new highway Shchepotievo-Baranovka-Semenovskoe was built as soon as possible, in front of the residents of nearby villages. The result was a two-lane highway with a length of 2.2 km and a width of 7 meters.
Problems
- The village is not gasified. Gasification will be possible in the future [ when? ] - in the project, the laying of a gas pipeline from Semenovsky to Bolshoy Kolychevo , which will be held next to Baranovka.
- Poor street lighting, only 4 lights installed.
- Lack of direct transport links with other settlements.
- There is no store, and a car shop arrives irregularly.
- Low power electric transformer.
- There is no road sign and street stencils, but an order has already been made for them.
