The World Championship in Speed Skating in Classic All-Around Women 1936 was held February 1 - 2, 1936 in Stockholm ( Sweden ). It was attended by 15 athletes from 7 countries who competed at distances of 500, 1000, 3000 and 5000 meters. At the final distance, 10 athletes were selected based on the results of 3 distances. It is considered the first official world championship.
