Scientific career
Born in 1941 in Velikhovo . In 1964 he graduated from the Poznan Polytechnic Institute, from 1968 he became an assistant, and since 1991 he headed the Department of Fundamentals of Designing Mechanisms. Author of more than 300 publications in Polish and foreign scientific journals, author and co-author of 8 monographs in Polish and one English-language monograph, holder of 28 patents.
Sports career
In 1964 he became the silver medalist of the Tokyo Olympics . In 1966 and 1971 he won silver medals at the European Championships, and in 1968 he won the silver medal at the European Indoor Championships.
