On December 21, 2012, the yacht was detained in the port of Amsterdam due to a payment dispute. The designer, Philippe Starck , stated that Jobs’s heirs owe him € 3 million of his € 9 million fee due to Stark for creating the project. [5]
The yacht was released from the Amsterdam dock on December 24, 2012 after paying the last bills of Steve Jobs [6] .
