Biography

Born December 19, 1896 . Russian Member of the CPSU (b) .

In the Red Army since 1918.

On April 29, 1939, the chief of the 3rd department of the headquarters of the Red Army Air Force Gvozdkov was awarded the military rank of brigade commander .

In 1939 - 1940 participates in the Soviet-Finnish war , was awarded the Order of the Red Star , for organizing communications in the troops.

On June 4, 1940, Gvozdkov was awarded the rank of Major General of Aviation .

During the Great Patriotic War, he headed the Communications Directorate of the Red Army Air Force headquarters.

April 30, 1943 Gvozdkov awarded the military rank of lieutenant general of aviation .

After the war, Lieutenant General Aviation Gvozdkov continued to serve in the army.

He died in 1968, was buried in Moscow at the Vagankovsky cemetery .
