History
According to the data of 1859 [2] in Rzhevsky district , 72 versts from the county center - the village of Pokrov (Azanov), the Orthodox Church, 9 courtyards, 52 residents. It was part of the estate attributed to the strange house of Count Sheremetyev in Moscow (that is, the house was maintained on income from this estate).
In the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries, the village of Pokrov-Ozanovo was the center of the parish of the Pyzhevsky volost of the Rzhevsky district . In 1914 in the village of 10 yards, 54 residents.
In 1940, the center of the Azanov Village Council as part of the Molototuda district of the Kalinin region sat down .
