The Museum of Asian Art ( Eng. Seattle Asian Art Museum ; abbr. (SAAM)) is a US cultural institution in Seattle , Washington . [1] Part of the Seattle Art Museum and located in the city park Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill.

The museum was created in 1994 from the collections of the Seattle Art Museum, existing since 1933 . His building is Seattle’s historic site. [2] Built in the style of Art modern by the architect Carl Gould ( born Carl Frelinghuysen Gould ) from the company Bebb and Gould .
The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. The ticket price for adults is $ 7, for students - $ 5. On the first Thursday and first Saturday of the month admission is free for all visitors.
