Edmund George McGilton ( Eng. Edmund George McGilton ; February 10, 1858 - August 31, 1933 ) - American politician, vice governor of Nebraska.

Biography
Edmund McGilton was born in Ogal, Wisconsin . He graduated from high school in and at the University of Wisconsin at Madison , where in 1885 he received a degree in law.
McGilton worked for some time as a school inspector in , and then in the legal department of the railway company . In 1888, he moved to Omaha , Nebraska , where he began a political career with the Republican Party . In 1903-1907, McGilton served for two terms as Vice Governor of Nebraska [1] under Governor John Mickey . Then he worked as a lawyer in Omaha, and in 1916 he was elected chairman of the Commercial Law League of America ( English Commercial Law League of America ) [2] .
McGilton died on August 31, 1933 [3] , and was buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Omaha. [4]
