Biography
He worked at a shipyard. Member of the Second World War, served in the Kriegsmarine of the Third Reich .
After the end of the war, he performed in cabarets and in occasional roles in theaters. He studied acting with Harry Berber. Since 1953 - actor theaters in Berlin, Potsdam and Frankfurt an der Oder , later - served in the Berliner theater ensemble and Friedrichstadtpalast .
Since the mid-1950s, Cuba has been a member of the DEFA cast, since 1954 he has played in films on small minor roles, mainly directed by Kurt Metzig .
He worked in the GDR television - Deutscher Fernsehfunk .
Participated in short satirical art films from the series “Stacheltier”, as well as in television productions of the DFF (Deutscher Fernsehfunk) [1] .
Horst Cuba was married and had two daughters.
