Biography
He trains in Rostov-on-Don at the Sports Training Center No. 1 under the direction of Nikolai Kopanev.
For the first time as a member of the Russian national team, he performed at the World Junior Championships in 2006. Then he could not get through the qualification sieve, remaining in 17th place with the best attempt at 18.37 m [1] . In 2010 he won the championship of Russia among youth in the room and went to the European Cup in winter throwing in French Arles . This time the competition turned out to be the best for Konstantin: 1st place in the individual competition among youth and 2nd in the team championship [2] .
He pushed the core for 20 meters for the first time in May 2013 at the Russian team championship. However, the result of 20.44 m was not enough to get into the top three winners - only fourth place [3] . To secure success at other starts in the season failed. At the Russian championship, he became only 11th with an attempt at 17.35 m.
Much better next year. In June, at the competitions in Krasnodar, Konstantin set a personal record of 20.54 m. At the Russian Championships in Kazan, for the first time in his career, he won medals, winning bronze with a score of 20.08 m.
In the winter of 2015, he won the national championship indoors , 1 centimeter ahead of the current summer champion of the country, Alexander Lesnoy [4] . Konstantin selected for the European Championship in Prague, where he could not get to the finals . The final result is 19.61 meters and 13th place in the qualification [5] .
