Story

In Braavos

Stannis ( Stephen Dillane ) and Davos ( Liam Cunningham ) arrive in Braavos, where they are received by Tycho Nestoris ( Mark Gatiss ) at the Iron Bank. He rejects Stannis’s request for financial support, noting the absence of a large army and provisions. Before leaving, Davos delivers a fiery speech about the merits of Stannis, pointing out that he is a man of action, his age and his abilities on the battlefield, and also points to the age of Tywin Lannister and his weak potential successors. Davos successfully takes over Tycho and later informs Sallador Saan ( Lucian Msamati ) that they will sail together tomorrow.

In Meerin

Near Miherin, one of the dragons is attacking a herd of goats led by a farmer and his son. While she accepts the petitioners, the farmer shows Daenerys ( Emilia Clark ) and her advisers a bag of charred goat bones, and she promises to pay him the triple cost of his goats. As soon as he leaves, Hizdar zo Lorak ( Joel Fry ) asks for the right to bury the remains of his father, as he was one of the Myerinsky gentlemen, crucified on the orders of Daenerys. Lorac also points out that his father opposed the crucifixion of child slaves, but was killed due to “justice” Daenerys. She reluctantly accepts his request.

In Dredfort

Yara Greyjoy ( Jemma Whelan ), along with his soldiers, raids Dredfort in retaliation for Ramsey ( Ivan Reon ) torturing Theon ( Alfie Allen ) and ripping off the skin from his soldiers. Yara finds Theon locked in a kennel along with the dogs, but he refuses to accept her help, as he considers this a new Ramsey trick. He also refuses to recognize his real name, believing himself to be Stinky. Before they could escape, Ramsey and his people cornered the ironborn, and after that they let the dogs down. Upon returning to the boats, Yara tells his people that Theon is dead. In the morning, Ramsey rewards the Stinky as a reward to take a bath, after which he demands help in capturing Rva Keilin.

In Royal Harbor

At a meeting in the Small Council, Tywin ( Charles Dance ) informs his advisors that the trial of Tyrion ( Peter Dinklage ) will begin in the afternoon. Lord Waris ( Conlet Hill ) informs Tywin that Sandor "Dog" Clegane was spotted in the Riverlands, Lannister promises a reward for his head. Varys also informs the council about the conquest of Myarin Daenerys, and Tywin decides to take measures to prevent the onset of her invasion.

In the dungeon, Jaime ( Nikolai Coster-Waldau ) fetters Tyrion and leads him to the throne room for the commencement of a court for the death of a murder. King Tommen ( Dean-Charles Chapman ) refuses to lead the court, appointing the grandfather Tywin, Prince Oberin Martell ( Pedro Pascal ) and Lord Mace Tyrell ( Roger Ashton-Griffiths ) as judges. Several witnesses were summoned for the prosecution, including Sir Merina Tranta (Ian Beatty), the great meister of Picel ( Julian Glover ), the Queen Regent Cerseu ( Lena Hedy ) and Varys, all of whom testify in support of the accusation against Tirion, omitting the actions of Joffrey. During the break, Jaime asks Tywin to spare Tirion, offering to leave the Royal Guard and return to the Cliff of Casterley to be Tywin's heir. Tywin agrees, telling Jaime that he will allow Tyrion to join the Night Watch after he is found guilty of killing Joffrey, on the condition that he plead for mercy.

Upon returning to court, Tywin summons to testify the next witness, who suddenly becomes Shaya ( Sibel Kekili ) for Tirion. She gives false testimony, saying that Tyrion and Sansa together planned the killing of Joffrey, claiming that Sansa wanted revenge for the death of her father, mother and brother. She talks about Tyrion's sexual desires, humiliating him right before the court. Before she could continue, Tyrion finally becomes angry and declares that he wants to "confess." First, he attacks the people of Royal Harbor for their ingratitude after he saved them from Stannis Baratheon in the Battle of Blackwater, not allowing them to be killed. Looking at Tyvin, he denies involvement in the killing of Joffrey, but admits that he regrets that he did not kill him, and accuses his father of having put him on trial for his dwarfism . He ends by saying that he refuses to be convicted of a crime he did not commit, and that the gods will decide his fate by demanding a trial by duel .
