Location
It is located in the south of the Miloslavsky District of the Ryazan Region on the right bank of the Kochurovka River.
History
The first mentions of the village appeared in the cover book of the Church of the Nativity of Christ and refer to 1676 [2] . By the end of the 18th century , two windmills , a lime slaking plant, a tavern and a shop operated in the village. In the XIX century, Kochury became the center of the Kochurovsky volost , in which there were 20 villages and villages, 4 schools operated, including two in the village of Kochura - Zemstvo and parish.
