On January 9, 2019, on the territory of the municipal district, a new municipal unit was formed: the urban district Solnechnogorsk [5] .
April 9, 2019 instead of Solnechnogorsk district as an administrative and territorial unit of the region , a city of regional subordination Solnechnogorsk was formed with an administrative territory [6] .
The administrative center is the city of Solnechnogorsk , which, as a city of regional subordination in 1960–2001. not part of the district.
Geography
The district is bordered by the Klin , Istra , Krasnogorsk and Dmitrov districts , the Khimki urban district of the Moscow region , as well as Zelenograd and the Molzhaninovsky district of Moscow . The area of the territory is 1085.07 km² [7] .
History
Solnechnogorsk district was formed in July 12, 1929 as part of the Moscow district of the Moscow region. It consisted of the working village Solnechnogorsky , as well as the following village councils of the former Moscow province :

- from Vertlinsky parish : Vertlinsky, Vorobyovsky, Merzlovsky, Mosty, Moshnitsky, Muravyovsky, Timonovsky, Fedinsky
- from Davydkovo parish : Golovkovsky
- from Sogolevskaya parish : Tarakanovsky
- from Solnechnogorsk parish : Grishensky, Melechkinsky, Novinsky, Obukhovsky, Solnechnogorsky, Spas-Slobodsky, Subbotinsky, Shapkinsky
- from the Savior-Nudolsky parish : Podzhigorodovsky
- from Troitskaya parish : Gorkovsky, Loginovsky, Khokhlovsky, Shchekinsky
- from the Bednyakovskaya volost of the Moscow district : Dudkinsky, Esipovsky, Litvinovsky, Peshkovsky, Povarovsky, Radumlsky, Rozhdestvensky, Khorugvinsky
- from the Pyatnitskaya parish of the Resurrection district : Alekseevsky, Belavinsky, Berezhkovsky, Verkhurtovsky, Kartsevsky, Lopotovsky, Novoselovo, Pyatnitsky, Sokolovsky, Timofeevsky, Yakuninsky.
On May 20, 1930, Rozhdestvensky s / s was transferred from the Solnechnogorsky district to the Communist , and Novoselovsky s / s to the Voskresensky district . At the same time, Lukyanovsky and Cheprinsky villages were transferred from the Dmitrovsky district to Solnechnogorsky.
September 27, 1932 from Skhodnenskiy district in Solnechnogorsk were transferred to suburban settlements Gangway and Kryukovo and village councils Alabushevsky, St. Andrew, Brekhovskikh, Goretovsky, Dzhunkovsky, Durykinsky, Žilina, Isakovsky, Kutuzov, Ligachevsky, Lytkinsky, Lyalovo, Molzhaninovsky, Nazarevsky, Padalinski, Poyarkovsky, Rzhavsky, Savelkovsky, Staralodalnevsky, Uskovsky, Filinsky, Cherkizovsky and Chernogryazsky (at the same time Zhilinsky s / s was abolished). At the same time, from the Solnechnogorsk district, Verkhurtovsky, Kartsevsky and Yakuninsky s / s were transferred to the Istrinsky district , the Podzhihorodovsky s / s - to the Novo-Petrovsky district , and the Khokhlovsky and Shchekinsky s / s - to the Klin district .
On August 10, 1934, Timofeevsky s / s was abolished.
On May 13, 1935, Myshetsky and Chashnikovsky s / s were transferred from the Communist region to Solnechnogorsky.
On November 3, 1938, DP was formed. Firsanovka . November 11th Kryukovo and Skhodnya were transformed into workers' settlements. December 13, rp Solnechnogorsky was transformed into the city of Solnechnogorsk.
On January 4, 1939, Isakovsky, Myshetsky, Poyarkovsky and Chashnikovsky s / s were transferred to the Krasnaya Polyana district , and Lukyanovsky and Cheprinsky s / s to the Communist district. On July 17, Vorobyevsky, Golovkovsky, Gorkovsky, Grishensky, Dzhunkovsky, Ligachevsky, Nazaryevsky, Novinsky, Pyatnitsky, Savelkovsky, Fedinsky, Horogvinsky and Shapkinsky s / s were abolished.
On May 28, 1940, a new settlement was transferred to the new Khimki district . Kryukovo and Skhodnya, DP Firsanovka, village councils Alabushevsky, Andreevsky, Brekhovsky, Goretovsky, Kutuzovsky, Molzhaninovsky, Podolinsky, Rzhavsky, Uskovsky, Filinsky, Cherkizovsky and Chernogryazky.
On June 14, 1954, Alekseevsky, Dudkinsky, Durykinsky, Esipovsky, Loginovsky, Lopotovsky, Lytkinsky, Lyalovsky, Melechkinsky, Merzlovsky, Mostovsky, Muravyevsky, Radumlsky, Starodalnevsky, Subbotinsky and Timoninsky with / with. Formed Elizarovsky, Kirovsky, Kurilovsky and Rakhmanovsky with / with.
December 7, 1957 Solnechnogorsk district was abolished, and its territory transferred to the Khimki district.
On August 18, 1960, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, the Khimki District was renamed Solnechnogorsky, the city of Solnechnogorsk was approved as the district center, while the city of Solnechnogorsk was classified as a city of regional subordination [8] .
The district includes the city of Dolgoprudny ; rp Krasnaya Polyana , Kryukovo, Lobnya , Nekrasovsky and Skhodnya; D.P. Meadow and Firsanovka; s / s Alabushevsky, Andreevsky, Belavinsky, Belorastovsky, Berezhkovsky, Vertlinsky, Kievsky, Elizarovsky, Kamensky, Kiovsky, Kirovsky, Kurilovsky, Kutuzovsky, Moshnitsky, Obukhovsky, Peshkovsky, Povarovsky, Podolinsky, Poyarkovsky, Pakharovsky, Kakharovskye -Slobodsky, Tarakanovsky, Chashnikovsky and Yurlovsky. On September 30, the Alabushevsky, Kiovsky, Kurilovsky, Povarovsky, Chashnikovsky and Yurlovsky s / s were abolished. Formed D.P. Alabushevo and Povarovo . Rzhavsky s / s was renamed Iskra, and Berezhkovsky - in Pyatnitsky.
September 5, 1961 р.п. Lobnya and Skhodnya were transformed into cities.
In 1962, Spas-Slobodsky s / s was abolished.
On February 1, 1963, Solnechnogorsk district was abolished, the main part of its rural territory was included in Solnechnogorsky enlarged rural area , the other part (Belorastovsky, Gabovsky and Kamensky s / s) - in Dmitrovsky enlarged rural area .
On January 13, 1965, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, the Solnechnogorsky rural area was transformed into the Solnechnogorsky district [9] . It was composed of R.P. Kryukovo, D.P. Alabushevo and Povarovo, s / c Andreevsky , Belavinsky, Vertlinsky , Elizarovsky, Iskrasky , Kirovsky , Kutuzovsky , Moshnitsky , Obukhovsky , Peshkovsky , Podolinsky , Pyatnitsky , Rakhmanovsky, Sokolovsky , Solnechnogorsky and Tarakanovsky. On the 17th of August the rp was formed. Mendeleevo .
December 2, 1972 Elizarovsky s / s was abolished.
On February 14, 1974, Belavinsky s / s was abolished.
On December 2, 1976, Rakhmanovsky and Tarakanovsky s / s were abolished.
February 11, 1987 By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, the following settlements of the Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow region were transferred to administrative subordination to the Moscow City Council of People’s Deputies: the north-eastern part of the dacha settlement of Alabushevo (between the Oktyabrskaya Railway and Zelenograd) , Kryukovo workers' settlement with residential buildings belonging to him at Kryukovsky forestry, Malino's village with residential buildings listed behind it and villages Alexandrovka Kutuzovo, Mihailovka, Novomalyn, horns with a total area of 1330 m (including 70 m - ROW October railway) [10] .
On February 3, 1994, the village councils were transformed into rural districts.
April 23, 1997 was formed Rzhavsky rural district .
On February 1, 2001, by the Law of the Moscow Region of January 17, 2001 No. 12/2001-OZ, the city of Solnechnogorsk lost its status as a city of regional subordination [11] .
September 13, 2004 d.p. Alabushevo was transformed into a rural settlement. On the 14th of September a rp was formed. Rzhavki , and Rzhavsky c / o abolished. Sept. 29 formed rp. Andreevka [12] .
January 9, 2019 all urban and rural settlements of the Solnechnogorsk municipal district were merged into a new single municipality of the city of Solnechnogorsk [5] [13] [14] .

Solnechnogorsk district from 2001 to 2003 included 1 city district subordination ( Solnechnogorsk ), 3 settlement of urban type ( Andriyivka , Mendeleevo , Povarovo ) and 11 rural districts: Andrew , Vertlinsky , Iskra , Kirovskiy , Kutuzovski , Moshnitsky , Obukhovskii , Peshkovski , Podolinsky , Piatnitski , Rzhavsky , Sokolovsky , Solnechnogorskiy .
From 2003 to 2006 the number of rural districts decreased to 10, and the number of urban settlements increased to 4: Rzhav rural rural district was abolished, and the village of Rzhavka, which constituted it, and the village of New Rzhavka, were merged into a new village (working village) of Rzhavka .
The city of Solnechnogorsk from 1960 to 2001. as a city of regional subordination was not part of the district.
