The International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC) is an autonomous partnership of 16 participating countries. The partnership facilitates the exchange of information between the participating countries on energy efficiency and energy saving issues, and also creates platforms for the exchange of best practices and experiences.

History
The partnership was created at the initiative of the leaders of the G8 countries in 2009 [1] . The partnership is headquartered in Paris. IPEEC member countries are Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the European Union, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Guide
The Executive Director of the Partnership is Mr. Benoit Lebo. The Chairperson of the Partnership Political Committee is Mr. Santiago Cracherez [2] .
G20 Action Plan
In 2014, G20 leaders at the Brisbane Summit (Australia) approved an Energy Efficiency Action Plan [3] . In accordance with this plan, the Partnership is authorized to coordinate actions for its implementation. The plan contains 6 key areas: energy efficiency in buildings, heavy vehicles, finance, energy management, electricity, appliances and devices.
