Biography
Born in 1901 in the village of Kamyshleyka [1] , Russian .
In 1918, voluntarily entered the service in the Red Army .
From 1918 to 1921 participates in the Civil War .
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1921.
After the war, continued service in the Red Army.
In 1924 he graduated from the 3rd Kiev Military Engineering School.
In 1935, after graduating from the Military Engineering Academy named after V.V. Kuybyshev , Blagoslavov was qualified as a military engineer.
In 1939, the assistant chief of the engineering department of the army, Blagoslavov, took part in the Soviet-Finnish war , for which he was awarded the Order of the Red Star for military distinctions.
In the Great Patriotic War, Colonel Blagoslavov from October 1941, commanded the 13th Sapper Brigade [2] which was part of the 5th Sapper Army, which erected two external defensive lines of Stalingrad and the Astrakhan line, and from January 1942 built the Rostov defensive line.
From February 1942 - head of the engineering troops of the 49th army .
April 1, 1943 - awarded the military rank of Major General Engineering Troops.
Since October 1943, the head of the engineering troops of the 1st Ukrainian Front .
As soon as he entered the command of the 1st Ukrainian front and brought together his top commanders to the meeting, Zhukov , as usual, addressing everyone to “you” and peppering with selective mat, announced publicly: some of those present he would instantly remove from office, others under the tribunal will give up, and the third just slap without trial. The head of the engineering troops of the front, General B. V. Blagoslavov, firmly and insistently asked to contact him without any foul language or threats. Bemused Zhukov, coping with amazement (he rarely objected), snatched the Mauser. Blagoslavov took out a parabellum and said in cold blood: "I am waiting for your shot." After a short pause, Zhukov still hid the Mauser.

Apparently this case was the reason for the transfer of Blagoslavov to another front.
From April 1944 until the end of the war, he was head of the engineering troops of the 2nd Byelorussian Front . He took part in the development and conduct of the Belarusian , East Prussian , Berlin operations.
April 19, 1945 - awarded the military rank of Lieutenant-General of Engineers.
During the war, General Blagoslavov was personally mentioned 24 times in thanksgiving orders of the Supreme Commander [4] .
After the war, Blagoslavov, chief of the engineering troops of the Main Armed Forces.
From September 1948, the chief of staff of the engineering troops of the Soviet Army, then the head of the command department of the V. Kuibyshev Military Engineering Academy.
Since 1958, retired.
