History

The status and boundaries of the rural settlement were established by the Law of the Saratov region dated December 27, 2004 No. 103-ЗСО “On municipalities that are part of the Balakovo municipal district”. [2]

The Law of the Saratov Region dated April 28, 2015 No. 41-ЗСО [3] , the Bykovo- Otrog , Elansk , Komsomol , Kormezh , Krasnoyarsk , Mayang , Naumov , Novoelyuzansk , Novopololevodsk , Pylkovo and Sukho-Otrog municipalities are transformed, by unification, into again formed “ Bykovo-Otrog Municipal Formation of the Balakovo Municipal District of the Saratov Region” with an administrative center in the village of Bykov Otrog .
