Biography
Yevgeny Skripilev was born in the village of Mostovoy of the Kupyansky district of the Kharkov province (now the Kharkov region of Ukraine ). In 1940 he graduated from the Military Law Academy of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army in Moscow [1] .
In 1943 he entered the adjunct department of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Military Law Academy. In 1948 he defended his thesis on the topic “Military law of Ancient Rome in the VI — III centuries. BC e. ” [2] , the scientific adviser of Skripilev was Stepan Fedorovich Kechekyan [1] .
After entering the postgraduate school, the UAA began teaching, worked at the Law Faculty of Moscow State University , the Military Law Academy and the Military Political Academy named after V. I. Lenin [1] .
In 1964, Skripilev began working at the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union , was the head of one of the sectors of this institution, and then worked as a chief research fellow . Here he defended his doctoral dissertation "Punitive policy of the Provisional Government and the apparatus for its implementation, March - October 1917" [2] .
