The World Fencing Championship in 1958 was held from August 17 to 30 in Philadelphia ( USA ). 190 athletes from 20 countries took part in it. Among men, competitions were held in the individual and team classification for saber, rapiers and swords, among women - only the foil championships in the individual and team classification.
