Career

Club

Gael was born in the coastal city of Marseille in southern France . Gael’s father is Levon Andonian, a well-known realtor in the city. Mother is a native of Belgium . Since childhood, Gael dreamed of playing for the Marseille Olympic, and his dream began to come true when, at the age of 9, he was admitted to the Olympic Children's Academy.

Andonyan made his debut in the French championship on November 2, 2014 in a match against Lance , which ended in a victory for Olimpik 2-1 ^[1] .

Armenia Team

On February 26, 2015, the President of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan stated that Andonyan would arrive in Yerevan on March 21, 2015, receive Armenian citizenship and officially join the Armenian team ^[2] .

He made his debut on March 29, 2015 in the qualifying match of Euro 2016 against the national team of Albania (1: 2).
