Content
Play career
Pupil of the Academy of Donetsk " Olympic ". The coaching duet in the Donetsk team is V. A. Avdeev and V. V. Starukhin [2] . In 2010, he continued his studies at the football academy of Metalist Kharkiv. After graduation he was enrolled in the youth of Kharkov. In the 2012/13 season he became the top scorer of the Metalist youth team and the fifth scorer of the youth championship [1] .
He made his debut in the Premier League on March 1, 2015 in the away match against Dynamo Kyiv . In addition to Boychuk, the first team from Kharkov was also wearing Alexey Kovtun , Maksim Averyanov , Yegor Chegurko , Sergey Sizy , Dmitry Antonov and Vladimir Barilko [3] . Such a “group debut” of Kharkov youth team players became possible due to the boycott by the Metalist leaders of the start of the spring part of the Ukrainian championship due to the club’s failure to fulfill contractual obligations to them [4] .
In the next calendar match on March 4, within the quarter finals of the Ukrainian Cup, against Shakhtar Donetsk, only two of the above seven played. Boychuk out in the starting lineup. After the break, was replaced by Dmitry Ryzhuk . In the next match against the same “Miner” in the Premier League, only one Boychuk took part.
In the spring of 2017, the FFU Control and Disciplinary Committee was disqualified for one year and another year conditionally (with a probation period of 2 years) for participating in match-fixing [5]
Game Style
In February 2013, the reviewer of the portal Football.ua Nikolay Brynza described Boichuk as follows: “Advantages of Bogdan: technique, speed ... and, oddly enough, a head game. ... it happens that Boichuk does not see the continuation of the attack - then he tries to fall, earning at least a penalty. ” [1] .
