Biography
Born on April 9 (22), 1904 in Surgodi (now in the Torbeyevsky district of the Republic of Mordovia ). After graduating from AzNI in 1932, until 1940 he worked at the Baku and Krasnodar oil fields.
In 1941–1942, he was the chief geologist of the Buguruslanneft trust.
In 1943-1952 - the chief geologist of the Kuybyshevneftekombinat and PO Kuybyshevneft.
In 1952-1957 - Deputy Head of the Geological Department of the MNP CCCP .
In 1957–1961 - deputy head of the oil and gas industry department of the Gosplan CCCP .
In 1961-1963 years - a member of the Institute of Geology and the development of combustible minerals.
A. Mustafinov - a participant in the exploration, discovery and development of oil fields in the Kuibyshev Volga region (1943-1952).
The author establishes the pattern of distribution of oil and gas fields in the Volga-Ural petroleum region and the Northern Caspian (1958).
Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1960).
He died on October 22, 1963 . He was buried in Moscow at the Novodevichy cemetery .
