Title
Similarly with the names of Dora , Dorki comes from the term dor - “the site on which the forest is cut down and uprooted” (that is, the door is torn from the word). Thus, the name of the village means "settlement at the plot of slashing agriculture" [3] .
Geography
The village of Dor is located in the southwestern part of Ramenskoye district, about 17 km southwest of the city of Ramenskoye . Altitude 130 m [4] . Near the village flows the river Nishchenka . 3 SNT are assigned to the village [5] . The nearest settlement is the village of Vasilevo .
History
In 1926, the village was part of the Vasilievsky Village Council of the Saltykovsky volost of the Bronnitsky district of Moscow province [6] .
Since 1929 - a settlement in the Bronnitsky district of the Kolomna district of the Moscow region. On June 3, 1959, the Bronnitsky district was abolished, the village was transferred to the Lyubertsy district . Since 1960, as part of the Ramensky district [7] .
Before the municipal reform of 2006, the village was part of the Ganusovsky rural district of the Ramensky district [8] .

In 1926, 177 people lived in the village (59 men, 118 women), there were 41 peasant farms [6] . According to the 2002 census , 5 people (2 men, 3 women) [11] .
