Biography

Orthodox religion. Educated at the Novgorod gymnasium. In service since May 23, 1869. He graduated from the 2nd military Konstantinovsky , then Mikhailovsky Artillery School , from where he was released into the 22nd Artillery Brigade.

For 9 years and 7 months he commanded a battery . On July 6, 1890, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant colonel with the appointment of the commander of the 1st Division of the 7th Artillery Brigade. February 15, 1905 he was appointed commander of the 40th artillery brigade . From August 20 of the same year was at the disposal of the Main Artillery Directorate.

In 1904-1905 he took part in the Russo-Japanese War . On January 8, 1906 he was awarded the golden weapon “For Courage” .

On February 12, 1907 he was appointed commander of the 5th reserve artillery brigade, and on April 22 of the same year, for the distinction, he was promoted to major general and approved as brigade commander.

He died in the same year 1907. Excluded from the lists of the dead on November 16, 1907.
