Fund Management

Dmitry Vasilyevich Firtash is the founder of the Firtash Foundation, a Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist .
Lada Pavlovna Firtash is the head and co-founder of the Firtash Foundation. As a managing director, Lada Firtash forms the foundation’s work strategy and develops cooperation with international partners. Dmitry and Lada Firtash were awarded membership in the Philanthropists Guild of the University of Cambridge [3] [4] for their significant contribution to the scientific and socio-cultural development of the University of Cambridge .

Foundation History

Charitable activities of Dmitry Firtash began in 2008. For several years, various projects were implemented in the field of education and culture, both on the territory of Ukraine and abroad, which subsequently formed the activities of the future fund. The Firtash Foundation was founded in 2012 by the spouses Firtash.

Goals and objectives of the Foundation

  • Improving the perception of Ukraine and promoting the formation of a positive image of the state in the world.
  • Promoting the development of Ukrainian art, familiarizing the global audience with the works of Ukrainian masters [5] .
  • Support for the study of the Ukrainian language and culture of Ukraine in Western Europe [6] .
  • Systemic support for projects in the field of education and the study of the history and culture of Ukraine .
  • Preservation of the spiritual heritage and traditions of the unique, distinctive Ukrainian culture.
