Björn Henrik Lundqvist ( Swede Björn Henrik Lundqvist ; March 2, 1982 , Auray , Sweden ) - Swedish hockey goalkeeper . He currently plays for the NHL club New York Rangers . Hockey player twin brother Yoel Lundqvist .

In the 2000 NHL draft, he was selected in the 7th round under the general 205th number by the New York Rangers club, which he has been playing for since 2005. Enters the top ten in terms of the number of victories for a career in the NHL among goalkeepers. In 11 of his 13 NHL seasons, Lundqvist scored at least 30 wins (the first NHL goalkeeper to win at least 30 wins in his first seven seasons).

In the summer of 2011, he married Teresa Andersson. On July 10, 2012, in New York, the couple had a daughter, Charlize, and on March 20, 2015, a daughter, Julie, was born in New York.
