Sanders-Ro SR.53 - British high-altitude interceptor fighter with a combined twin-engine powerplant. The main engine of the liquid rocket , using it was supposed to intercept high-altitude targets. The auxiliary turbojet engine, after the main engine's fuel was used up, was used for returning to the airfield and landing .
