Career
Hamza Alich began his career in the late 1990s. He played in the shot put at the youth championships of the world and Europe, but could not break even into the top ten.
At the 2002 European Championships , the Bosnian first performed at the adult continental championship, but took only 26th place.
In 2005, he won a bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games in Spain, pushing his core at 19.49. At the World Championships in Helsinki, he showed a result almost half a meter worse and did not qualify, becoming only 22nd.
At the 2008 Olympics, Hamza Alich pushed the core at 19.87. To reach the final, he did not have enough 15 centimeters, and in the end he took 16th place in the qualification.
At the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara he won silver, and four years later he won a second bronze medal. In the same 2013, he won a silver medal at the European Indoor Championships , which took place in Gothenburg , with the result of 20.34 losing only to the Serb Kolasinats .
