Biography
Born into a peasant family, Finn.
In 1931 he graduated from the Leningrad Pedagogical College, in 1931-1940 he worked in rural schools of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
In 1940 he graduated in absentia from the historical and philological faculty of the Karelian State Pedagogical Institute . Member of the CPSU (b) since 1940.
In 1940-1944 - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of the Karelian-Finnish SSR . In 1946 he graduated from the Higher Diplomatic School of the NKID of the USSR , worked as an attaché in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR .
In 1946-1951 - Secretary of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Karelian-Finnish SSR . In 1949 he graduated from the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks .
In 1951-1956 - Minister of Education of the Karelian-Finnish SSR. Of
Since 1956, head of the Department of History of the Karelian State Pedagogical Institute .
In 1960-1975 - rector of the Karelian State Pedagogical Institute.
