The Order of Merit is one of the state awards of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic .

Description
- The Order of Merit is made of tombac and is a convex stylized five-pointed star, the adjacent rays of which form a regular arc. The ends of the rays of the star are covered with ruby red enamel. The star is superimposed on a plate made in the form of diverging rays and also having the shape of a five-pointed star.
- The rays of this plate are located between the rays of a ruby-red star. The plate of the Order of Merit of the I degree of golden color, the order of the II degree - silver.
- In the center of the star is a round golden plate bordered by a belt of white enamel. On the girdle - the inscription "FOR MEASURES" and the abbreviation "PMR", separated from the inscription by dots. In the center of the round plate there is a convex golden coat of arms of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika, and the surface of the circle is covered with enamel: for the Order of Merit, I degree red, for the Order of Merit, II degree, dark green (grassy) enamel. Dimensions of the order - 42 mm.
- In the upper part of the order badge there is an eyelet, with which it is connected with the help of a ring to a pentagonal block covered with a silk moire ribbon 24 mm wide. The tape is red. In the middle of it is a green strip 4 mm wide. From both edges of the tape at a distance of 2 mm are strips 1 mm wide. The ribbon for the order of the first degree they are yellow, for the order of the second degree - white.
- The back of the order is smooth and the order number is engraved on it. On the back of the block there is a device for attaching the order to clothes.
- The rays of this plate are located between the rays of a ruby-red star. The plate of the Order of Merit of the I degree of golden color, the order of the II degree - silver.
Statute of the Order of Merit
- The Order of Merit was established for rewarding for special services to the state related to the development of statehood of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika, achievements in work, strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation between peoples, for a significant contribution to the defense of the Fatherland.
- The Order of Merit has two degrees. The highest is the first degree. Awarding is made sequentially: II degree, I degree.
- Repeated submission for the award of the Order of Merit is possible no earlier than five years after the previous award of this order.
- The Order of Merit is awarded to citizens of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic, organizations of various forms of ownership, military formations, settlements. The Order of Merit may also be awarded to persons who are not citizens of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika, as well as organizations, settlements of foreign states.
- The Order of Merit is worn on the left side of the chest after the Order of the Republic and, in the presence of other orders, is placed in front of them.
