Espiridion Guanko ( Tagalog. Espiridion Guanco ; December 29, 1874 - May 2, 1925 ) - Filipino statesman, interim president of the Senate of the US-dependent territory of the Philippines (1919-1922).

Biography
In 1900, he co-founded the newspaper El Tiempo. In 1907 he was elected to the Assembly of the Philippines and chairman of the Agricultural Congress.
In the years 1916-1925. He was elected a member of the Senate, worked as a member of the banking committee. In the years 1919-1922. - Interim President of the Senate.
In 1921, he was appointed vice president of the Philippines Central Agency for Sugar, a special unit of the Philippine National Bank to monitor the six major sugar cane plantations. In 1922, along with a number of other prominent politicians, he supported the creation of Kusug Sang Imol (KSI), a special fund to support plantation workers and their widows who have lost their health.
In 1927, a bridge was named in his honor in Hinigarran, Western Negros province.
