The German-Platonic dialect (self-named. Plautdietsch ) is the Mennonite language of Russia , Kazakhstan, the Lower Prussian version of the East-Low German dialect , which was formed in the XVI - XVII centuries . in West Prussia . It is also spoken in the North American language belt, in Germany it is known as the "platduch". The German-Platonic dialect is used all over the world and is native to half a million people:

Plautdietsch-Freunde
Plautdietsch-Freunde (plutdiich-freund) is a public association that deals with the problem of preserving and developing the language. Founded in 1999. As part of its activities, Plautdietsch-Freunde organizes conferences on language problems and scientific trips, and also publishes the journal Plautdietsch FRIND .
