Geography
It is located in the north-east of the Perm Territory in the lower reaches of the Glukhaya Vilva River .
The distance to the regional center ( Perm ) is 323 km. The distance to the district center ( Krasnovishersk ) is 21 km.
History
In written sources, the village was first mentioned in 1579 [3] . From the XVI to the XIX century it was in the possession of the industrialists and landowners of the Stroganovs .
Famous natives
- Brazhnikov, Alexander Vasilievich (1944) - former editor of the newspaper Krasnaya Vishera. Honorary Citizen of Krasnovishersky District since 2011. [4] .
Attractions
Wooden Church of St. John the Baptist (St. John the Baptist Church). It was built between approximately 1890 and 1917. Inactive since 09.16.1949 [5] Now the building is in a dilapidated condition.
