The position of the lacuna Nakuru on the infrared map of Titan
Lakuna Nakuru ( English Nakuru Lacuna ) - a lacuna located on the surface of Saturn's largest satellite - Titan , at coordinates [1] . Lacuna ( lat. Lacuna ) - an object similar to a lake, but better reflecting radio waves, which indicates its shallow depth or complete absence of fluid.
The size of the structure is about 190 km [1] . Lacuna Nakuru is one of many lacunae scattered in the northern hemisphere of Titan .
Named after the earthly lake Nakuru , located in Kenya [1] .
