According to one version of the legend, Aisha-Bibi lived near the city of Tashkent in the XI-XII century. Karakhan, the ruler of the Karakhanid state , came to visit Aigozha, the father of Aisha-Bibi. Aisha-Bibi and Karahan fall in love with each other. After the news of the attack of enemies, Karakhan goes to defend his native land. At the agreed time, Karakhan could not come to Aisha-Bibi, and, worried about his fate, asked her father for permission to go to Karahan's homeland. The girl, despite the ban, leaves for Karakhan with 40 friends. On the way, Aisha-Bibi dies from a snake bite. Karakhan performs an engagement ceremony in the hope that Aisha-Bibi will become narrowed in the other world, and as a sign of love for her, builds a tomb-mausoleum (in the village of Aisha-Bibi , near the city of Taraz ). Bakytyar Abildaev based on this legend wrote the play “Aisha Bibi”.
