Lyudmila Vasilievna Arlovskaya , nee Lysenko ( November 2, 1973 , Vyshny Volochyok , Kalinin Oblast , according to other sources, Inta , Komi ASSR [1] ) is a Belarusian biathlonist , ambitious medalist of the World Championships in summer biathlon . Career
According to the bomzhihi who introduced herself as the mother of the athlete, as well as the data of the newspaper “ Youth of the North ”, in 1989 she was a member of the Komi ASSR ski team, after which she was invited to the Republican School of Olympic Reserve in Vitebsk , after which (in 1994 [2] ) stayed in Belarus , got married and began to represent this country [1] [3] .
Since 1992, Lyudmila has been engaged in biathlon. She has performed at two Olympic Games ( 1994 , 2002 ) and five world championships ( 1995 , 1996 , 1998 , 2000 , 2001 ). The best results in major tournaments - the seventh place in the relay at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City and fourth place in the team race at the 1996 World Championships in Ruhpolding . At the 1999 European Championships in Izhevsk became the second in the sprint and the third in the individual race.
In her last season in the World Cup ( 2002/03 ), she rose to the highest level of the podium for the first time, having won the relay at the stage in Osrble [4] .
The greatest success of Arlovskaya brought performance in the summer biathlon (cross), where she became the 2000 world champion in the relay, and also has two silver medals in this discipline and two personal "bronze".
Personal Life
In the fall of 2005, the best reporter journalist in Poland in 2004, Jacek Hugo-Bader, made for Gazeta Wyborcza a story about the life of Moscow bomzhihi Emma Lysenko, who introduced herself as the mother of Lyudmila [3] . She said that she was also involved in skiing and was a friend of Raisa Smetanina on the Dynamo team from Syktyvkar , however Smetanina soon denied it [1] . According to bomzhihi Emma, Lyudmila has two more sisters, as well as brother Vasily, who was imprisoned for murder at that time; the father took part in the aftermath of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant , as a result of which he died early [3] .
In 2007 she graduated from BSPU. Maxim Tank [2] . He has one child.
