Biography
One of the most prominent representatives of the clan of Konotop Cossack elders of the XVII-XVIII centuries, and then the noble family of Kandyba .
In 1669 - 1672 and 1674 - 1675 he was a Korsun colonel , later - the centurion Konotop (from 1681-1689) and the Nezhin regimental convoy (1698 - June 1701).
A participant in the campaigns of the Russian army and Zaporozhye Cossacks during the Russian-Turkish war of 1672–1681 to the city of Chigirin and the Crimean campaigns against the Crimean Khanate in 1687 and 1689 .
