He graduated from the Prague Conservatory , where he studied conducting with Pavel Dedecek and composition with Bohumil Shpidra .
In 1951 he headed the mixed choir “Zherotin” in Olomouc. Since 1956, the second conductor of the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra , in 1960-1986. his main conductor. The brightest pages in the history of Nogale's work with this group are Dmitri Shostakovich's Seventh Symphony in 1957 and his Twelfth Symphony in 1963, Hector Berlioz's Requiem (1968) and Benjamin Britten's Military Requiem (1973), Third (1980) and Second (1981 ) symphonies of Gustav Mahler ; The culmination of Nogale's career was his performance at the head of the orchestra at the Prague Spring festival in 1985 with a program of works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , Bohuslav Martinтин and Jiří Power , reflecting his general principle of collecting programs from the classical repertoire of the 20th century and major symphonic repertoire of the 20th century and new Czech music .
