As the music site AllMusic writes. his "distinctive screeching falsetto was one of the most unique voices in all pop music." In addition, Lou Christie “was one of the first performers of the rock era to write his own songs, giving birth to some of the biggest and most memorable hits of the mid-1960s” [1] .
