In general, in the world (for example, in Europe) he is better known for his first hit “ Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You ” (4 weeks in 1st place in the UK in July 1988 [3] , 1st place also in France and in Netherlands [4] ), which is a cover version of the song of the same name by George Benson .
The music site AllMusic characterizes him as a “handsome teenager of the type of a boy from a poster ”, who for the most part produced a cloying “sentimentalism” - love ballads - although “he also branched into more rigid, more funky styles” [1] .
At the end of his musical career, he worked as a teacher of American history at the Catholic Maryknoll School High School in his hometown of Honolulu in Hawaii. In February 2013, he was appointed deputy director of it [3] .
