Biography
Born in 1969 in the Balykchy district of Andijan region.
In 1993, he graduated from the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Russian language and literature.
Kh. A. Ketmonov began his career as a teacher at school No. 28 in the Tashlak district of the Ferghana region. In 1995 to 2004 worked as a chief specialist, department head, deputy head of the Department of Public Education of the Ferghana Region, in 2004-2013. served as deputy hokim of Andijan region for public relations and religious organizations.
From 2013 to the present, Kh. A. Ketmonov is the chairman of the Central Council of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan .
Following the results of the December 21, 2014 elections, Kh. A. Ketmonov was elected to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Boz constituency No. 11. Since January 2015, he has also been the head of the PDPU faction, deputy speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On September 17, 2016, the Central Council of the PDPU nominated a candidate for the post of president of Uzbekistan in the early presidential elections , which will be held on December 4, 2016.
Married. Has three children.
