Geography
It is located in the north of the Moscow region, in the central part of the Mytishchi district, about 10 km north of the center of Mytishchi and 11 km from the Moscow ring road , near the Ostashkovsky highway and the Pirogovsky reservoir of the Moscow Canal system.
On the territory of the village there is a boarding house "Klyazminskoe reservoir", the street network is Mayskaya Street and Sorokinskoye Highway, a horticultural partnership is assigned to the village [2] . It is connected by bus with the regional center and the city of Moscow (routes No. 26, 438) [3] . The nearest settlements are the village of Zhostovo , the villages of Zhostovo , Sorokino and Ulyankovo [4] .
History
Built by the decision of the First Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Nikita Khrushchev , the Klyazminsk Reservoir boarding house was opened on June 17, 1963 and was supposed to become a recreation area for residents of the Moscow Region. Initially, it included 4 buildings - Molodyozhny, Solnechny, Lesnoy, Zhivopisny, three canteens, two houses for staff, then a club with a cinema near Moscow Light appeared, a shop, a school, and three boat stations and three beaches [5] .
1994-2006 - the village of the Zhostovsky rural district of Mytishchi district, since 2006 - the village of the urban settlement Pirogovsky of the Mytishchi district [6] [7] [8] .
